Refund Policy

All bookings at Hotel Sonar Bangla, Puri are made through our reservations WhatsApp at +91 77426 48686. The tariff, advance payment (if any) and the cancellation terms for your stay are shared and agreed with you at the time your booking is confirmed.

To cancel or change a booking, message us on WhatsApp at +91 77426 48686 as early as possible. Refund eligibility of any advance paid depends on the cancellation terms confirmed to you when your booking was made, including how close to your check-in date the cancellation is received.

Cancellations made well in advance are generally refunded in full or rescheduled to a new date at no extra cost. Please keep your booking confirmation message handy, as it records the terms that apply to your stay.

If you do not arrive on your confirmed check-in date, or you check out earlier than booked, refunds are at the discretion of the hotel and depend on the terms confirmed at the time of booking.

Approved refunds are returned through the same payment method used for the advance. Please allow a reasonable number of working days for the amount to reflect in your account, as bank processing times are outside our control.

During peak periods such as Rath Yatra and major festivals, special cancellation terms may apply. These will always be communicated to you on WhatsApp before your booking is confirmed.
